don’t like posing? awesome! neither do i. let’s have some fun!

Happiness is contagious. That’s why I’ve spent my career honing a style of modern reportage photography: so I can help you tell your story beautifully. We’ll have lots of fun, and no cringey posing! Let’s talk a little bit about your day…

the morning.

I’ll arrive a couple of hours before your ceremony to catch all of the excitement as you get ready. From the hair rollers to the Prosecco being popped open, I’ll capture all the small details as well as the many, many emotions flying around.

But don’t worry, you’ll barely know I’m there.

If you want coverage at two locations (each partner getting ready at different places) then we’ll probably need a second shooter, which we can arrange (see my pricing page).

the ceremony.

I’ll be exactly where I need to be for your big entrance. This is where I get the great shot of the groom welling up, and lots of awesome crowd photos.

I’ll be on the lookout for all the magical, emotional moments as you get hitched.

And then we’ve got the most fun bit of the day: THE CONFETTI!

the party.

That’s the official bit done – you’re married! WHOOP! I’ll kick into mum-mode and make sure you have some drinks and canapés while we do group and family shots.

We’ll also take a bit of time to breathe with some portraits of just the two of you in a pretty spot.

The rest of the day will really fly by, but I’ll help you put together a timeline to make sure you’ve got plenty of time for photos and with your guests. I’ll record your wedding as it happens: the joy, the laughter, the speeches, the drinking, the dancing (especially the dancing). I’ll be there for all the little in-between moments that, without a photographer, would be missed.

FAQs

Q. We love your style! But my partner and I are camera-shy. How do we get around this?

A. I get this a lot! But please don’t worry; most couples are very camera-shy. I have a relaxed style, and all of my sessions are chilled out. If you’re really nervous, you can book yourselves in for a pre-wedding session so we can have an afternoon together beforehand, and you can get used to being in front of a camera. Trust me, you’ll love it, and you’ll have some amazing photos for the save-the-dates or invites.

Q. Can we have a look at a real wedding that you’ve shot?

A. Yes, of course! I can share real wedding galleries with you, or send you a link to some of my awesome featured blog posts (I’m pretty proud of them).

Q. Will you shoot a wedding outside of Scotland?

A. Indeed I will! I have photographed destination weddings throughout Europe and Canada. Let me know where you are, and we’ll work out how I can get there. My passport is always up-to-date 🙂

Q. Do you do elopements?

A. DEAR GOD YES. I love elopements! The privacy and intimacy of it all is just so romantic. Drop me a line and I’ll build you a special bespoke elopement package.

Q. Money’s a little tight (weddings are damn expensive!). Can we print our own photos?

A. I totally understand. Yes, you have full printing and personal use rights. But promise me you WILL print them! You don’t have to get me to do it, but please don’t leave them on a USB stick forever. Knowing you’ll print them makes me happier than a box full of kittens!

Q. May we share our photos with our lovely suppliers?

A: I have licensing agreements with many suppliers, for them to be able to use photographs for their marketing. If any suppliers request photographs, please have them contact me, so I can provide exactly what they need, in the correct format and size.

Q. Do you have a magic little black book of other suppliers that you'd recommend?

A. Do I ever! I collect fabulous suppliers wherever I go; it’s so important to use people that you trust. I only recommend people who I rate very, very highly. Tell me what style/vibe you’re going for, and I’ll point you in the right direction.

Q. You sound perfect for our day. How do we book?

A. Great news! Well, first I need your info, then I’ll prepare an electronic contract for you to sign, and we sort out the £500 booking fee to hold your day. 50% of the balance is due 6 months before your wedding day, then 50% a month beforehand. Simples!

kind words.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We cannot recommend Liana enough. We were quite anxious about the pictures, as neither of us enjoy getting our picture taken.

From the first time we met Liana, I knew she was the right photographer for us. She is so fun, creative and passionate. Liana was everything we had hoped for, and more. She made us feel so at ease, and has captured our day perfectly. Thank you!

Claire & Ed

So you’re looking for a photographer for your wedding!? STOP LOOKING! YOU’VE JUST FOUND THE PERFECT ONE!!

Liana is not only an amazing photographer, but an amazing person. On our wedding day, she was a friend, a guest, a constant source of advice. Liana spots things that nobody else does, and she has an amazing skill of telling stories through naturally captured images.

Our photographs and slideshow are breathtaking, and everyone raves about them! We wish we could do it all over again! Thank you! Dougie & Beck

Our photos are 100 times better that we could have hoped for!

Liana is a wonderful person, and it was so lovely to have her and Robert capture our wedding.

You helped make the day even more special. We really can’t thank you both enough for everything. Amy & James
